Frank H. Cox III Succeeds Dad at CMW Marketing

1 min read

Frank Cox III, known as FH, has succeeded his father, Frank Cox Jr., as president and chief executive officer of Cox Minshall Winans LLC, the Little Rock marketing firm commonly known as CMW Marketing + Creative.

FH Cox, who had previously served as the agency’s chief operating officer, has overseen all operations of the company since April 1, according to a news release. His father became chairman emeritus of Cox Minshall Winans, which he formed originally with his son and Alex Winans in 2015 as Crossbound Marketing. The idea was to focus on digital marketing and advertising.

Frank Cox Jr. is a longtime veteran of advertising and was president and CEO of CJRW, one of Little Rock’s top firms, from 1997 through 2004. FH Cox was elevated to his father’s old role by a vote of the agency’s partners, the news release said.

Chris Minshall, CMW’s creative director, predicted continued success under the new CEO. “I have no doubt that FH will continue to do a great job with our clients and help us achieve our growth and retention goals,” Minshall said in a company statement. “His knowledge and experience has, and will continue to, contribute greatly to our success.”

In 2018, Crossbound Marketing merged with Minshall & Minshall Creative and changed its name to Cox Minshall Winans LLC.

CMW Marketing + Creative serves clients in several categories including financial services, health care, outdoor products, hospitality, housewares, real estate and others.
