Dear Leadership Arkansas Class V Graduates,

I would like to salute all of the graduates of the 2011 Leadership Arkansas program. It gives me great pleasure to know that there are so many Arkansans who are dedicated to ensuring that Arkansas is a great place to live and work. Your commitment to public service, leadership and economic development should be applauded.

It is my hope that you will take the tools that you learned from the Leadership Arkansas program and use them to make your local community, state and nation a better place. The invaluable skills that you took away by traveling across the state, meeting with local businessmen and women, touring local factories and working within your Leadership Arkansas class should be used for the betterment of the state.

Now that you have a better understanding of our state’s achievements, economic development needs and the legislative process, it is my hope that you share what you have learned with your co-workers, families and local communities. Most importantly, it is essential that you use your individual skills to make a difference.

During these tough economic times, it is imperative that we have leaders in place to move this state forward. We can do it with your help and dedication to improving the lives of all Arkansans. It is time to get to work! Our state will be better because of you.

On behalf of the Arkansas State Chamber Board of Directors, congratulations and best wishes.

Best regards,

Ed Drilling
