Frontier Airlines announced a twice-weekly direct flight from Northwest Arkansas National Airport to Las Vegas.
The flight will start with fares as low as $39 the airline said. The flights will begin Aug. 13.
The announcement is another in a recent spate of direct flights added to XNA’s schedule. Allegiant Air announced direct flights to St. Petersburg and Fort Lauderdale, and Breeze Airways added flights to Tampa, New Orleans and San Antonio.
Allegiant already offers a direct flight to Las Vegas from XNA.
“This new route comes at the perfect time as travel demand is picking up at XNA,” said Andrew Branch, the airport’s chief business development officer. “This new route is the result of the success Frontier has experienced with their service to Denver. We are confident the people of northwest Arkansas will enjoy this new nonstop option to Las Vegas.”
Frontier announced that it was adding direct flights to Las Vegas from five airports, including XNA.
“We’re thrilled to expand in Las Vegas with five new nonstop routes,” said Daniel Shurz, senior vice president of commercial. “Frontier now proudly offers 48 nonstop Las Vegas routes for improved access and affordability to visit one of the top entertainment destinations in the world. We look forward to launching these new flights in August and welcoming southern Nevadans and visitors aboard to make unforgettable vacation memories.”
