Gary Boyd has been named vice president of information systems for Arkansas Blue Cross & Blue Shield.
Boyd has more than 25 years of experience in the industry, most recently as vice president of enterprise omni-channel technologies at Humana Inc. of Louisville.
In his new role, Boyd will lead digital transformation initiatives and associated operational activities at ABCBS. His focus will include the delivery of the strategy, tools and processes that will enable innovative customer engagement solutions and strategic partnerships, the company said in a news release.
Boyd is a graduate of Northumbria University in England and the Swiss Re Executive Leadership Institute.
