Genesis Cancer & Blood Institute of Hot Springs on Monday announced the opening of a new clinic in Russellville.
The clinic at 1808 W. Main St. is the medical group’s 10th location in the state, according to a news release. The group, formerly known as Genesis Cancer Center, focuses on diagnosing and treating cancer and studying blood and blood disorders. It offers patients on-campus radiology scans, educational services and participation in clinical trials and investigative studies.
Founder and oncologist Dr. Timothy Webb said in the release that the new location was chosen with the knowledge that “care close to home is truly important to our patients.”
Benton, Arkadelphia and Camden are among the group’s other clinic locations. The group joined the American Oncology Network in 2018 to provide patients with additional services, such as home delivery of certain cancer medications.
“Genesis and AON believe every patient deserves access to top quality cancer care and clinical trials in the communities where they live and work and have their support system close by,” AON CEO Todd Schonherz said in the release.
