The Natson Hotel Group of McDonough, Georgia, paid $21 million for three hotels in northwest Arkansas.
The group’s acquisitions were Extended Stay Suites on West Old Farmington Road in Fayetteville and on Luvene Avenue in Springdale and Dixie Industrial Avenue also in Springdale. The acquisition price included $8.75 million for the Dixie location, which has 121 rooms totaling 43,084 SF; $7.25 million for the Fayetteville hotel, which has 121 rooms totaling 43,232 SF; and $5 million for the Luvene location, which has 101 units totaling 42,744 SF.
The Natson Group is led by CEO Subhash “Sam” Patel. The group received a $102 million loan from AMP HFP Mortgage Lender Services of Denver for the transaction, which included the three Arkansas hotels and 12 other properties.
The hotel group Extended Stay America, which is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, was the seller of all three properties.
Surgery Center
A North Carolina investment group paid $15.3 million for a surgery center in Fayetteville.
TM Medical Properties of Greensboro, which invests in medical offices, purchased the Roller Weight Loss & Surgery Center on East Rainforest Road. The 28,055-SF property sits on 3.55 acres.
Simmons Bank of Fayetteville provided a loan of $10.1 million.
Josh Roller, a bariatric surgeon and the owner of the Roller center, was the seller. He acquired the property as land for $625,000 in 2013.
Maverik Sale I
A Maverik convenience store on West MLK Jr. Boulevard sold to a New York City investment group for $6.77 million.
Fulton Realty Capital, led by Lawrence Kaplan, bought the property that sits on a little more than 1 acre and totals 4,020 SF. The property was once a Kum & Go, a franchise based in West Des Moines, Iowa, that was acquired by Maverik of Salt Lake City in 2023 and subsequently rebranded all the stores under its banner.
First Citizens Bank of Mason City, Iowa, provided a loan of $4.85 million.
The seller was MLK Drive LLC of Atlanta, led by Berel Bakaleynik of Maple Street Management, a real estate investment company. Bakaleynik acquired the property for $6.7 million in 2024.
Maverik Sale II
Another Maverik convenience store in Fayetteville also sold, this time to a Little Rock group for $7.2 million.
The property, on East Huntsville Road, sits on nearly 2 acres and is 5,700 SF. The buyer was Huntsville Road #5356 LLC, led by attorney Price C. Gardner of Little Rock.
Simmons Bank of Pine Bluff provided a loan of $6.12 million.
The seller was Hurd Jordan Two LLC of West Des Moines. That is a subsidiary of Hurd Real Estate, led by Richard Hurd.
Fayetteville Retail
A former boutique clothing store on Joyce Boulevard sold for $2.2 million.
T.J. Lefler of Fayetteville, a northwest Arkansas real estate developer and investor, bought the former Mason’s location through his Joyce St Partners LLC. The property sits on 1 acre and is 8,853 SF.
Citizens Bank of Batesville provided a $2.25 million loan.
Mason Hiba, who died in 2010, founded Mason’s and acquired the property for $959,000 in 2006.
