Tutoring time is a weekly highlight for AR Kids Read students. Smiles come naturally to John and Elijah in their weekly time together.

MISSION
AR Kids Read’s mission is to nurture a love for reading through relationships so that every child may one day read on grade level.
AR Kids Read was founded through the efforts of civic and church leaders who created a nonprofit literacy program to support children in first through third grades who are reading below grade level.
AR Kids Read recruits, trains and mobilizes volunteer tutors who encourage student’s reading efforts and provide literacy skill-building activities in their specific areas of need.
