MISSION
Founded in 1962, Economics Arkansas equips pre-K-12 schools with standards-based resources and professional development to teach economics, personal finance and entrepreneurship. EA uses practical, innovative and inspiring methods so that Arkansas students can master an understanding of economics and personal finance and apply that knowledge for success in the real world.
Its training, programs and resources are project-based, grade-appropriate, innovative and approved for professional development credit by the Arkansas Department of Education. By teaching teachers, who in turn teach students, EA maximizes its impact exponentially.
The Economics Arkansas Foundation was launched in 2016 to ensure the organization’s long-term viability.
GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
• $1,000 sponsors a virtual teacher professional development, reaching teachers across the state
• $2,500 sponsors a school-based Family Financial Literacy Night, helping students and families learn personal finance
• A gift of any size to the EA Foundation supports the long-term success of EA.
