Giving Guide: Friendship Community Care

2 min read

MISSION

Founded in 1972, Friendship Community Care began with one teacher, a handful of students and a vision for a better tomorrow. Friendship Community Care is a forward-thinking humanitarian organization that promotes excellence and leadership in the care they offers their communities. The organization envisions communities where people with disabilities receive quality services that empower them to lead dignified lives. Today, Friendship Community Care provides therapeutic services to over 2,500 pediatric and adult consumers across Arkansas. These services include physical, occupational and speech therapies, behavioral health, autism-specific programming, community living, transportation, job training, developmental preschools and adult day treatment centers.
