MISSION

We Are The 22 founder Mikel Brooks had a profound goal in 2017: When a veteran in suicidal crisis called for help, a fellow veteran would go. His passion for reaching out to veterans in crisis is the driving force for this unique organization.

The organization’s name comes from the number of veterans who complete suicide every single day.

We Are The 22’s unique mission to go to the veteran to provide peer-to-peer interaction has  saved the lives of over 340 Arkansas veterans to date

GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

• Equipment – All responders wear body armor when on a call.

• Volunteer – Seeking veterans who could serve as a responder.

• Spread the Word – Put a sticker, brochures or even a banner in your business.
