
Holiday Island Holdings Inc., the northwest Arkansas-based enterprise that’s shifting its focus from real estate to oil, has named Glenn Klinker as CEO.
The company had been led by Gene Thompson, an associate of the late Holiday Island developer and promoter Tom Dees.
Holiday Island Holdings, one of the state’s smallest publicly traded companies (OTC: HIHI), announced this month that it’s changing its name to better reflect its new focus on oil and gas properties. The new name is EP3 — Enhanced Petroleum Extraction Enterprises Inc. The change will take effect sometime in the coming months.
Klinker was the company’s chief operating officer for oil and gas projects before becoming its top executive.

In a news release, Holiday Island said it expects the final funding of two wells in the Permian Basin to happen this week under a joint operating agreement with Rock Oil & Benchmark, an oilfield services company.
Holiday Island said it expects to start seeing revenue from those wells as early as mid-February.
