Goodwill Arkansas Names Brian Marsh President, CEO

1 min read

Goodwill Arkansas said Thursday that former COO Brian Marsh of Alexander had been named president and CEO.

Thursday was the first official day as CEO for Marsh, who had been serving as interim president and CEO after the departure of Brian Itzkowitz earlier this year.

“Brian [Marsh] proved to everyone during his time as interim president that his focus is on people, specifically those impacted by Goodwill’s mission to change lives through education, training and employment,” said Mitch Chandler, Goodwill Arkansas board chairman. “Though we conducted a sizable search for a new leader, the board concluded that Brian is the right choice. We know the organization’s mission and structure will continue to grow and flourish in his capable hands.”

Goodwill Arkansas donations fund education, training and employment services free of charge for unemployed and underemployed Arkansans.

“It is an honor to serve this organization that gives deserving Arkansans a second chance,” Marsh said in a news release. “In my time with Goodwill Arkansas, I have seen the impact Goodwill’s unique programs and services have on individual lives of Arkansans as they work to overcome barriers to employment and ultimately find success in the workplace. As the first college graduate on both sides of my family, I understand the true value of education for all.”

Marsh has been with Goodwill since 2013. He previously held leadership roles at Envirotest in Arvada, Colorado, and Essilor Laboratories of America in Dallas.
