Sam Dubke has been appointed as the communications director for Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders. Dubke succeeds Alexa Henning, who announced her departure from the position in August.
Dubke joined the governor’s staff as deputy communications director and speechwriter in February 2023. Before his tenure in Little Rock, he worked as a speechwriter for U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., and on the communications teams for Donald Trump’s 2020 presidential campaign and Glenn Youngkin’ campaign for governor of Virginia in 2021.
Dubke is a graduate of Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
