Erica Woods
Gov. Asa Hutchinson has appointed Erica (Jackson) Woods of Little Rock to Southern Arkansas University of Magnolia’s board of trustees.
Woods was sworn in on Wednesday. She graduated from the SAU nursing program in 1993 and is a registered nurse with the Arkansas Specialty Orthopedics Surgery Center at CHI St. Vincent. A decorated U.S. Army veteran, Woods will join the board at its next regularly scheduled meeting.
Trustees also welcomed Lawrence Bearden as the new board chair. He has served on the board of trustees since his appointment in 2015. Monty Harrington was elected as vice chair and Therral Story as secretary.
