2 min read

The Grand Prairie Center, which reopened in September 2023 after renovations, is a focal point on the campus of Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas-Stuttgart.

Stuttgart’s Center for Meetings, Culture & Arts

With a capacity of 1,193 seats, Riceland Auditorium features sound and stage lighting for pageants, corporate meetings, graduations, school association meetings and concerts in which the Arkansas Symphony performs each December. The auditorium has a Green Room and dressing rooms adjacent to the stage. Available for guests, the property features free Wi-Fi, smartboards, LCD projectors, an outdoor covered cooking pavilion, catering and hospitality kitchen features, ice machine, coffee and tea makers, warming carts, refrigerator and freezer. The Grand Prairie Center Salons and classrooms are available for not only meeting space, but it also hosts many weddings and receptions, chamber of commerce events, and class and family reunions. The Grand Hall serves as a registration and reception space as well as an exhibit area for silent auctions and extended space.

New & Improved

Renovations of the center have included new paint for the entire center with new furniture in the Grand Hall, expansion of a classroom and new seating and stage in Riceland Auditorium. Stuttgart’s agriculture industry sets our conference center as premier meeting space for agriculture meetings for farmers and its vendors. A favorite summertime event features a Summer Youth Theater Workshop free to children ages 8-18, sponsored by Lennox Industries. Held in July of each year, children spend a week with a theatrical company learning performance skills, arts and crafts, and they end with a performance in Riceland Auditorium for the public.
