Grant Gordy Added to First Community Bank Branch in Little Rock (Movers & Shakers)

Grant Gordy of Conway has been hired as vice president of treasury management for the new Little Rock branch of First Community Bank of Batesville.

Gordy has 15 years of finance experience, most recently with First National Bankers Bank.

Rene Julian is community president for First Community Bank in the Little Rock region, and he is joined on the lending team by Eddie Ramsey, a senior vice president and commercial lender; Wendy Halpin, mortgage loan originator; and Stacy Glover, commercial loan assistant. Emilee Schmalzried will serve as new accounts representative and Tori Rodgers is a teller.

Joel Futrell and Daniel Park have been promoted to assistant bank examiners by the Arkansas State Bank Department.

Kelly Buchanan has been promoted to director of corporate branch strategies by Home BancShares Inc. of Conway, the parent company of Centennial Bank. The position will be responsible for growth incentive programs for all branches, along with evaluating, exploring and designing new virtual branches.

Buchanan has been with Centennial Bank for 17 years, spending the past seven years in the marketing department.
