Group Five West Named Agency of Record for Big Brothers Big Sisters

2 min read

Group Five West Marketing and Advertising of Little Rock has added Big Brothers Big Sisters of Arkansas as a client and will handle all the nonprofit mentoring program’s marketing and messaging, the firm announced Aug. 30.

Lisa Hemme, the Group Five West’s president, told Arkansas Business that her three-generation family business is honored to help Big Brothers Big Sisters of Akansas and its new CEO, Raymond Long, in “empowering the lives of youth in Central Arkansas.”

Group Five West, a 52-year fixture in Little Rock, will build awareness for the nonprofit using web, digital, social media and print messaging.

“Group Five West was the logical choice for us,” said Long, a former Little Rock Regional Chamber executive who took over leadership of the BBBSCA in June. “My vision is a bolder, better, and bigger Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas. Lisa and her staff at Group Five West have the experience and passion necessary to propel our brand to the next level.”

Hemme, whose company was founded by her father, Richard Hinkle, said BBBSCA’s service to youth hit close to home.

“We’re proud of the work they do,” Hemme said, praising Long and the energy he’s poured into the nonprofit, which is also more than a half-century old. “We look forward to growing their brand and increasing awareness of this wonderful nonprofit under the leadership of Raymond.”

He is smart, enthusiastic, and perfect for the role, Hemme said.

Hemme said her father has retired but still stops in at the office regularly. Account Executive Nicole Hemme represents a third generation of family leadership at the firm, Lisa Hemme said. “Of course I grew up in the business and now it’s looking very positive for Nicole in the future of the company.”
