Grove Apartments Now The Wayland After $11M Deal in Conway

Our latest installment of Faulkner County million-dollar transactions includes five Conway projects: a private student housing development, a special needs health and education facility, an apartment project, a retail property and a dental office. A big home on the outskirts of Conway completes the six-pack.

• A 504-bed apartment project geared toward students at the University of Central Arkansas pops the biggest top at $11 million.

Three affiliates of Calidus Realty of West Palm Beach, Florida, acquired The Grove at 2730 Dave Ward Drive from Campus Crest at Conway LLC of Charlotte, North Carolina.

New ownership has brought a new name: The Wayland.

• Broadstone PP Arkansas LLC of Rochester, New York, bought the 18,716-SF Pediatrics Plus Therapy & Center of Early Learning project at 2740 College Ave. in Conway for $5.6 million.

Seller? Kids Play Properties LLC, led by Todd Denton.

• Watson & Watson Construction Inc. of Conway sold the 40-unit first phase of Arbor Point Apartments at 1875 Ott Memorial Blvd. for $3.3 million.

Buyer? Hurley Property Management LLC of Conway.

• TB Garrett Creek LLC of Tulsa purchased the 30,000-SF Furniture Factory Outlet at 580 Amity Road for $3.2 million.

Seller: Jonesboro’s P&H Investments LLC, led by John Perry.

• Edwin and Jennifer Dalton sold the 5,940-SF Prince St. Family Dental project at 2415 Prince St. for $1.44 million.

Buyer: Blackburn Capital LLC, an affiliate of Little Rock’s Central Dental.

• Samuel McFadin II, CEO of M&M Environmental Group, acquired a 4,562-SF home along the Arkansas River for $1 million. The 16.7-acre residential spread was sold by the Cynthia Marie Gray Revocable Trust.
