Guild Mortgage Co., based in San Diego, has expanded into Arkansas, making Harrison its first location in the state as the company continues a U.S. expansion project in the South and Southeast.
James “Mat” Fowler, with more than 13 years of experience in mortgage lending, has been hired as branch manager at the Harrison location. Before working for Guild, he owned and managed a mortgage company for four years.
“I am pleased to be able to offer borrowers the dedication to customer service and wide range of products available through Guild,” Fowler said.
Joseph Phillips joins the Guild location in Harrison as loan officer.
The company was founded in 1960 in San Diego as a home finance company. Guild now has more than 200 branch and satellite locations across the U.S.
Guild had a generated loan volume of $7 billion and a servicing volume of $13 billion in 2013.
