Hazel Hernandez Moves Up at Fayetteville A&P (NWA Movers & Shakers)

Hazel Hernandez has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing by the Fayetteville Advertising & Promotion Commission and Experience Fayetteville.

Amy Stockton has been hired as director of operations and destination development. Julia Cherry is the new operations manager.


Ryan Ladner has been named the dean of Soderquist College of Business at John Brown University in Siloam Springs.

Richard Ellis is now the dean of the College of Education & Human Services, Stacey Duke was appointed the dean of the Graduate School, and Joe Walenciak is now the dean of business development and strategic partnership in the Office of Academic Affairs.

These four new appointments are effective July 1.


Julie Damer has been named marketing and communications manager of Northwest Arkansas Food Bank in Bethel Heights (Benton County).


Beaver Water District was recognized by the American Water Works Association Partnership for Safe Water with the 5-year Directors Award, which is given to plants that are leaders in drinking water optimization and public health protection.
