Heather Cherry Named Senior VP & Chief Nursing Officer at Arkansas Children’s LR (Movers & Shakers)

Heather Cherry has been hired as senior vice president and chief nursing officer at Arkansas Children’s Hospital of Little Rock. Cherry has spent more than two decades in nursing leadership and has experience with neonatal care, emergency centers, and quality and performance improvement.


Jonathan Alvarado (MD Hair Labs)

Jonathan Alvarado has joined MD Hair Labs of Rogers as regional patient experience coordinator. Alvarado has a background in hospitality and is a bilingual speaker of Spanish and English.


John Paul Brizzolara (CARTI)

Dr. John Paul Brizzolara has joined CARTI of Little Rock. Brizzolara, a urological expert with more than 40 years of experience, will treat patients at the Little Rock campus and at the CARTI Cancer Center in Pine Bluff.


Rohit Dhall (UAMS)

Dr. Rohit Dhall has been named chair of the Department of Neurology in the College of Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences of Little Rock. Dhall has been a faculty member since 2016, serving as a professor and the vice chair for clinical research and director of neurodegenerative disorders in the Department of Neurology. He has also directed the Cure PSP Center of Care at UAMS since 2017, co-directed the Huntington’s Disease Society of America Center of Excellence since 2021, and directs the Parkinson’s Foundation Comprehensive Care Center.


Arkansas Urology of Little Rock has hired six new staff members. Maya Clarke has been hired as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner in Little Rock. Clarke has seven years of patient care experience. Peggy Isaac, with 16 years of nursing experience, has been hired as an advanced practice nurse in Russellville. Eli Jackson has joined Arkansas Urology as a physician assistant in Conway. Sarah Lilly has been hired as a physician assistant in Little Rock. Sam Raney has been hired as an adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner at Arkansas Urology’s Stone Clinic-Little Rock. Raney is returning to Arkansas Urology after six years in the emergency department at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Lisa Vinal has joined Arkansas Urology as an advanced practice registered nurse at the Stone Clinic-North Little Rock.
