The Help Card in Springdale and Continental Computer Corp. in Jonesboro have joined forces to provide a processing component to the Directors Assistant program, a service for funeral directors.
The partnership will allow funeral directors access to Help Card transactions through the Directors Assistant program. The Help Card creates payment plans and financing to pay for aging consumer care. Released in mid-March, the program was initially available only to dental and medical providers.
“Being able to transition into the funeral market was monumental,” T. Warren Center, The Help Card president and founder, said in a news release. “Providing an option for families to financially cover the loss of their loved ones, and still be able to have the funeral they want is one of the rewards of this program.”
Center created the program to help people trying to pay for needed care.
“We are glad to provide yet another innovative and necessary application to our software, and our hope is to make this process a breeze for the directors using it, and also for the families that are being cared for by these professionals,” said Wes Johnson, president and CEO of Continental Computer Corp., which provides software for the funeral home industry.
