Conway is the proud home of three institutions of higher learning, earning the distinction of the City of Colleges. Central Baptist College, Hendrix College and the University of Central Arkansas consistently produce graduates who stay in the area and enter the workforce. This is part of the reason Conway surpasses the state and national averages when it comes to the educational attainment rate. Over 40% of Conway’s adults age 25 or older have a bachelor’s degree or higher.
