Holiday fundraisers resulted in more than $1.3 million in gifts to Arkansas Children’s Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas Children’s Northwest in Springdale, and the nonprofit Arkansas Children’s Hospital Auxiliary.
More than $800,000 was raised at the 2022 Miracle Ball, which benefits the ACH Auxiliary, an organization that serves patients and families through fundraising and service projects. The funds this year will support the Heart Institute, as well as the ACH Auxiliary’s legacy funding priorities: the Arkansas Children’s Research Institute, Palliative Care, the Good Mourning Program and the Social Work Family Fund.
“We could not be more grateful to the donors who made this year’s event a night of impact,” Fred Scarborough, president of the Arkansas Children’s Foundation, said in a news release. “The donors’ support and the Auxiliary members’ passion for Arkansas Children’s help ensure a better today and healthier tomorrow for children in Arkansas and beyond.”
More than $466,000 was raised through the Festival of Stars Toy and Donation Drive and Radiothon, which was broadcasting Dec. 9 on Cumulus Media stations across the state including Alice 107.7, KLAL-FM, and B98.5, KURB-FM. Toys and monetary donations support patients and their families during the holiday season and throughout the year.
