Home BancShares Inc. of Conway announced Wednesday that Brian S. Davis has been elected chief financial officer, treasurer and director of Home BancShares and its wholly owned subsidiary, Centennial Bank.

Davis replaces Randy E. Mayor, who is retiring after more than 16 years with the company. Mayor is also retiring from his positions as a director of the boards of directors for Home BancShares and Centennial.

Davis previously served as chief accounting officer and investor relations officer.

“(Davis) has been with the company for 11 years, and has been an integral part of our management team during the majority of our transformative events, including the company’s initial public offering in 2006, the company’s charter consolidation and 17 of our 18 acquisitions,” Chairman John Allison said in a news release. “This promotion is well deserved, and I look forward to working further with (Davis) as we execute our strategy to drive shareholder value.”

Davis had more than a decade of working with Mayor and said this experience will help him in his new role.

“(Mayor) and I have worked closely together since I joined the company in 2004, which will make for a smooth transition,” Davis said. “I am well-positioned to carry on the company’s strong discipline around costs in order to meet our goal of increasing shareholder value.”

Also Wednesday, the company named Jennifer C. Floyd to succeed Davis as the chief accounting officer and investor relations officer for Home BancShares. Floyd was also elected chief accounting officer of Centennial.

Floyd is a graduate of Harding University in Searcy where she received her bachelors of business administration in accounting and marketing. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
