Perhaps you recall that Little Rock’s Hotel Frederica sold at auction in September.
We have the name of the buyer: Hotel Le Rock LLC, led by Parth and Vijay Patel.
The venture and the Patels are affiliated with VIPA Hospitality Management in Hot Springs. The 82-room Frederica is now part of VIPA’s portfolio, which includes nine hotels, six of which are in the Spa City.
The list of Hot Springs properties encompasses the Home2Suites by Hilton at 106 Catalina Circle, Country Inn & Suites at 4307 Central Ave., La Quinta Inn & Suites at 4253 Central Ave., Country Inn & Suites at 4319 Central Ave., Red Roof Inn at 1125 E. Grand Ave. and Motel 6 at 106 Lookout Point.
Hotel Le Rock paid nearly $1.7 million for the Frederica. The auction was precipitated by the financial failings of the previous owner: SHG Management LLC, led by Kishan Patel.
