Laura Huckabee, a cousin of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, started on air last week as a meteorologist for KHBS-TV of Rogers and KHOG-TV of Fort Smith.
Huckabee is a Jonesboro native, a graduate of Arkansas State University and a veteran TV meteorologist who has worked in Jonesboro and Little Rock, as well as for stations in Georgia, New Mexico and Utah. She has 20 years of weather forecasting experience.
Hearst Television in New York owns the ABC-affiliated KHBS and KHOG.
