Hudson Made Deputy at Attorney General’s Office (Movers & Shakers)

Renae Ford Hudson of Sherwood has been appointed deputy attorney general of the Civil Litigation Department of the Arkansas attorney general’s office in Little Rock.

Hudson joined the office in 2003 and before that she specialized in criminal defense and family law and utility regulation.


Charles King has been named general manager of Hot Springs Village by the city’s board of directors.

King worked previously as the managing director of lodging operations at the Snowboard Resort in Utah. He has also worked at several other resorts and operations in Arizona, Pennsylvania, South Carolina and Texas.


Scott Stanger has been appointed to a four-year term on the board of Humble Energy Inc. of Paron.

Stanger is the chief of staff for the Arkansas Department of the Military. He served a total of 32 years as a United States Army officer and ended his career as the director of Joint Staff.

Stanger has a bachelor’s degree in zoology, a master’s in environmental management and a master’s in strategic studies.
