Hutchinson Campaign Manager Starts Lobbying Firm

1 min read

Robert Moery, who managed Gov. Asa Hutchinson’s successful re-election campaign, has founded his own lobbying firm, Broadview Strategies of Little Rock.

Moery described the firm as a “full-service government relations and consulting practice.” The firm will work with Shiloh Strategic Advisors, a public relations and public affairs firm founded by Bill Vickery, Mitchell Lowe and John Burris, a former state representative.

“We are excited to be in business with Robert,” Vickery said in a news release. “He is bright, very well-respected and already accomplished at a very young age. Robert represents both the present and future of business and politics in Arkansas.”

Hutchinson defeated Democratic challenger Jared Henderson last week, 65-32. Libertarian challenge Mark West won 3 percent of the vote.

Before running Hutchinson’s campaign, Moery was the governor’s legislative director. He also led the governor’s office on agriculture, transportation, natural resource, game and fish, insurance and racing and gaming issues.

“He brings together a great blend of knowledge and experience that I know will be valuable to Broadview Strategies’ and Shiloh’s success,” the governor said in a news release. “I wish him all the best.”

Vickery, Lowe and Burris also manage Capitol Advisors Group of Little Rock, a lobbying firm.
