1 min read

Affiniti Management Services LLC of Rogersville, Missouri, on Monday announced the $25 million construction of I Street Apartments on the corner of Southwest I and 41st streets in Bentonville.

The development will be adjacent to the Bentonville Community Center and the under-construction Mercy Clinic.

The property management firm said this “upscale apartment community” is set to open in late 2018. It will consist of six three-story buildings and offer 238 units, ranging from one to three bedrooms.

The development will also have a custom sculpture at its entrance, swimming pool, off-leash pet park and access to jogging and biking trails.

The interior of the central building will feature a hotel-style lobby, flexible co-op spaces for meetings and a low-impact fitness room with yoga studio. It will also have social gathering spaces with fireplaces, a community-style kitchen and lounge-style seating.

Lonnie Funk, president of Affiniti, said the investors in this project know the market is steadily growing. He said the target demographic will be ages 21-50, including college students, young professionals and Mercy Clinic employees.

A groundbreaking for the apartments will be held in the next 30 days, Funk added.

The developer is BC Center LLC.

Bailey Pyle Builders of Springfield, Missouri, is the contractor. The architect is H Design Group LLC of Springfield, Mo., and the engineer for the project is CEI Engineering Associates Inc. in Bentonville.
