A new office of The Interface Financial Group, which provides "spot factoring" funding for small businesses, is now open in Texarkana.
Franchise owners Steve and Karen Nipper work from their home to help small to medium businesses manage their cash flow by buying receivables at a discount, but he said IFG is not a traditional factoring company. IFG doesn’t require clients to sell all of their receivables and doesn’t require a long-term contract.
The flexibility of spot factoring can be a good fit for seasonal businesses, he said.
"We solve cash flow problems with a unique invoice discounting program which reduces the amount of time that businesses wait to get their money after invoicing a customer," Steve Nipper said in a press release.
The company can often respond with a initial funding for a business within two or three business days, and for established clients, this period is reduced to one or two business days.
"Through 40 years of experience in [managing cash flow], IFG has developed the ability to be very responsive, very flexible and very timely in providing those types of services," Nipper said.
What sets IFG’s business-to-business financing apart from competitors is that it serves customers in almost any industry, including construction, which, Nipper said, most financial providers tend to shy away from.
IFG’s international headquarters are in Markham, Ontario, and its U.S. headquarters are in Bethesda, Md.
The IFG Texarkana office opened May 1 and operates from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
