iRealty Arkansas officially announced on Monday its merger with Adkins McNeill Smith & Associates.
Doug Smith, a partner in Adkins McNeill Smith & Associates, told Arkansas Business two weeks ago that the Little Rock firms were working on a merger, but the details hadn’t yet been finalized.
iRealty is led by Kristen Kennon. Her agency also has offices in Sherwood, Benton and Cabot. It reported sales volume of $111.2 million in 2017, placing 17th on Arkansas Business’ annual list of the largest residential agencies in the state. It first appeared in our research in 2014 with $44.3 million.
Adkins McNeill Smith, meanwhile, was No. 23 on the list with sales volume of $87.1 million last year, well off its heyday of $195 million in 2005.
In a news release, iRealty said the Adkins firm provides “top-notch service” and is known “for going above and beyond for all of their clients.”
“iRealty Arkansas is known for their unique culture and outstanding training for new agents,” the company said. “We believe that by combining the strengths of the two offices, we will create an amazing atmosphere for all of our agents to thrive. We have a common desire to support our fellow realtors, give back to our community, and provide a superior experience for our clients when buying or selling.”
