Jack in The Box to Expand to Arkansas

Fast food restaurant Jack in the Box has announced plans to expand to Arkansas and Florida.

The San Diego-based chain said it will build 14 restaurants across the two states. 

“Our new franchisees for Arkansas are experienced multi-unit hotel franchise operators, and their local market knowledge combined with our strong presence in Texas and Oklahoma made this a natural fit for Jack in the Box,” Dustin Thompson, director of franchise development, said in a news release.

Publicly traded Jack in the Box (Nasdaq: JACK) has more than 2,100 restaurants across 21 states. The company also owns Del Taco, a Mexican-American chain with about 600 locations across 15 states.
