Jack Weatherly Changes Jobs with Democrat-Gazette

1 min read

Jack Weatherly is no longer the business editor for the statewide Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.

Weatherly’s title changed last week to senior business writer on the newspaper’s staff list at ArkansasOnline.com, and his name vanished from the editor contacts in the paper’s business section between Wednesday’s edition and Thursday’s.

The D-G’s deputy editor, Frank Fellone, said Weatherly “will add his knowledge and expertise to our reporting power” and will write a weekly column, to appear on the lower front page of the Sunday business section.

Weatherly’s former editing duties have been divided between Roger Hedges, assistant managing editor for business, and Jim Kordsmeier, assistant business editor.

Weatherly had been business editor for about 10 years, Fellone said.
