Jason Browning Hired as General Counsel at CARTI (Movers & Shakers)

Jason Browning has been hired as general counsel at CARTI of Little Rock. He was previously an attorney at Wright Lindsey Jennings. He has almost three decades of experience representing medical clinics, hospitals, physicians and providers.


Rick Long has been hired as director of northwest Arkansas operations for Attorney’s Title Group PLLC. He will manage northwest Arkansas business development and conducting closings.


Stephen Broughton

Dr. Stephen Broughton has been hired as a cardiologist at CHI St. Vincent Cardiology & Medicine Center of Little Rock. Broughton recently completed his interventional cardiology fellowship training following his cardiology fellowship program at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.

Katie Halsell has joined the stroke program at Washington Regional of Fayetteville. She has seven years of experience as a registered nurse and previously cared for patients in the Washington Regional emergency department.

Dr. Robert H. Hopkins Jr. has been appointed medical director of the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases. He is a professor of internal medicine and director of the UAMS Division of General Internal Medicine.

Dr. Christine Mirabel has joined Jefferson Regional Ear, Nose & Throat Associates. She previously was chief of otolaryngology for the United States Air Force Hospital of Las Vegas.

Dr. Sheheryar Shah has joined Jefferson Regional of Pine Bluff. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Jackie Hancock Jr. has been elected president and CEO at United Way of Northwest Arkansas. He previously served as CEO for the PKD Foundation in Kansas City and the National Foundation for Transplants in Memphis.

Kristin Koenigsfest has been appointed executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arkansas. She will develop a strategy for fundraising, volunteer recruitment and operations and coordinate programs for children and families across central Arkansas.
