Jason Hornsby Joins Stone Bank (Movers & Shakers)

Jason Hornsby has been hired by Stone Bank to be the head of the bank’s home loan division in Little Rock.

Hornsby has 18 years of mortgage lending experience and he is also a licensed life insurance agent.


Brock Ferguson was named vice president of commercial lending at Centennial Bank in Jonesboro. Ferguson has served at Centennial Bank in business development and lending for almost five years.


Michael Powell was named mortgage division president by Simmons Bank in Little Rock.

Powell has financial services experience from his time at Centennial Bank and IberiaBank. He also started Cornerstone Mortgage in 1999.


Jim Andrews, deputy director and general counsel for the Department of Arkansas Heritage, and two others have been named board members of Economics Arkansas, based in Little Rock. David George, an investor education specialist for the Arkansas Securities Department, and Lorrie Trogden, president and CEO of the Arkansas Bankers Association, have also been appointed to the board.


Arvest Bank’s annual Million Meal initiative to fight hunger has raised a record total of 2,468,873 meals.
