Jason International Wins Design Honor

1 min read

Jason International Inc. of North Little Rock has received a 2012 award for design excellence in a competition sponsored by Design Journal, an international trade publication. Jason’s MicroSilk hydrotherapy bath won a gold award in the annual competition, which recognizes product design of "furniture, fixtures and finishes," the company said.

Jason International, which is seeking a patent on the MicroSilk technology, called it the first hydrotherapy "created specifically to rejuvenate the skin." The product is available on more than 50 Jason bath designs.

"We are grateful for this accolade from an authoritative panel of industry judges," Jason Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Remo Jacuzzi said in the company statement. "The industry award follows the selection this spring of MicroSilk Hydrotherapy among the 30 most innovative products of the year by the editors of Better Homes & Gardens Kitchen & Bath Ideas."

More than 500 companies submitted 2,814 entries for the design competition, Jason said.

Jason’s MicroSilk hydrotherapy delivers "an oxygen-rich cloud of microbubbles," the company said. "Because MicroSilk microbubbles are so much smaller than bubbles from jetted baths and air baths, they gently cleanse the pores, moisturize the skin and erase the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles."

Jason International, founded in 1982, makes luxury hydrotherapy products. For more information, contact Tena Dick at TenaD@JasonInt.com or visit JasonInternational.com.
