
Jay Wisener
First National Bankers Bankshares Inc. of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, this week named Jay Wisener president of its Arkansas region.
Wisener takes over the post previously held by Jim Franks, who retired on Monday.
“We are excited to have Jay Wisener serve as president of our Arkansas region,” FNBB Chairman Joe Quinlan said in a news release. “Jay has the leadership qualities and experience to lead our Arkansas office. His understanding of our banker’s bank model and the relationships he has formed with the bankers in Arkansas provides for a smooth management transition for our organization and our customers.”
Wisener has been senior vice president for five years, overseeing lending in Arkansas. Before joining the company, Wisener was an executive vice president at Arkansas Capital Corp. Group for 17 years.
