Jennifer Cobb Pyron, editor of Arkansas Business Publishing Group’s Little Rock Soiree magazine, has accepted a job as director of communications and strategic planning for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital Foundation beginning June 3.
Pyron has been editor of Soiree for one year and was previously editor of another ABPG magazine, Little Rock Family, for more than five years. ABPG has not announced her replacement.
“My daughter Emily has been a patient at Arkansas Children’s Hospital since 2006, so I’m very passionate about its mission, services and programs,” Pyron said. “I look forward to helping the team at ACHF raise the funds necessary to ensure that ACH is able to provide care to every child who needs it.”
Pyron will help develop and implement the foundation’s strategic plan and oversee communications for the foundation, among other duties.
At the hospital foundation, Pyron is succeeding Rachel Chaney.
Chaney was the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette’s “High Profile” editor before she began working for the foundation in November. Chaney hopped back to the statewide daily newspaper April 1 to become its new business editor.
ABPG owns Arkansas Business.
