Hydco Inc. on Tuesday announced changes to its executive leadership.
Jeremy Hyde, son of founder Barry Hyde, has been promoted from vice president to president. The younger Hyde now oversees the firm’s day-to-operations, the company said in a news release. He has worked for the company for 25 years.
Hyde succeeds Roger Marlin, who had been acting president since 2008 and is now CEO.
Jarred Dulski is also moving up in the company. He’s been promoted from project manager to vice president and chief operating officer. Dulski, who joined Hydco in 2017, now leads the firm’s field operations, estimating and project management.
“I am confident that Hydco’s future is bright with the promotions of these two deserving individuals,” Marlin said in the release.
Hydco, founded in 1987, is the 28th largest commercial contractor in Arkansas. It reported $15.01 million in revenue in 2020.
The firm’s projects include the Cabot and Searcy aquatic parks, the $1 million renovation of the building that currently houses Flyway Brewing of North Little Rock, and the reconstruction of the Fordyce Country Club after it was destroyed by a tornado.
Hyde said he’s “looking forward to taking the lead” at the company.
“So many mentors have given their time and resources to ensure I reached this lifelong goal that I’ve had since childhood,” he said. “Customer service has always been the focus of Hydco’s culture. I intend on ensuring that our teams’ everyday efforts continue to focus on our customers’ construction-related needs and dreams.”
