Jill Joslin Named President of CJRW

2 min read

Jill Joslin, who joined CJRW when it merged with Heathcott Associates in 2015, has been named the marketing and communications agency’s president, becoming the first woman to gain that position at the Little Rock firm.

The promotion was announced Thursday by CEO Darin Gray, who described Joslin in a news release as “a well-respected professional” who brings “an invaluable strategic perspective to our clients and will provide great leadership to our team.”

Joslin, who has nearly 30 years of experience in the Arkansas advertising industry, started at CJRW as director of account services, handling client management and directing successful marketing plans, the release said. Before the merger, she worked for longtime Little Rock advertising executive Gary Heathcott for more than 23 years.

“CJRW is an iconic business in Arkansas, and I am humbled and excited to become its next president,” Joslin said in the release. “We have an outstanding team here, and we work every day to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients by delivering an excellent product on time and on budget.”

Gray said Joslin had “proven herself in several areas, especially in new business development,” citing the $5 million Arkansas Health Insurance Marketplace account as an example. She also drew Gray’s praise in June for helping to coordinate winning bids for two contracts with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission worth a combined $900,000 a year.

Joslin, who has experience with a range of clients including tourism, health care, insurance, public utilities, finance and retail, succeeds Gray as president. He was named chairman and CEO in July 2015.

A marketing graduate of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, Joslin lives in Little Rock with her husband, Greg, and daughter, Paris.
