Jim Youngblood Named CEO of McGehee Bank

McGehee Bank has named Jim Youngblood as president and CEO of the $179.5 million-asset lender and its parent company, Southeast Financial Bankstock Corp.

Youngblood follows James Michael Smith in the role.

Youngblood previously served as the company’s executive vice president, chief operating officer and CFO, as well as general counsel and corporate secretary, McGehee Bank said in a news release.

He is also a member of the board of directors for the bank and its holding company.

Youngblood attended the University of Arkansas before earning his bachelor’s from the University of Central Arkansas. He later earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law.

He holds a Graduate Trust Certificate through the American Bankers Association at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, and a Graduate Banking Degree from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Youngblood is licensed to practice law in Arkansas and holds a Certified Trust & Fiduciary Advisor designation.

McGehee Bank has four branch locations in McGehee, Arkansas City and Watson.
