The mystery of whether the Jimmy Doyle Country Club, which closed in November, is being reborn is solved: It’s not.
Juan Zarate, owner of the Pit Stop on MacArthur restaurant at 18715 MacArthur Drive in North Little Rock, is simply taking over the Jimmy Doyle private club and beer license.
Zarate says the restaurant serves barbecue and Mexican food and — now — “cold beer.” “We’re having a full menu,” he said.
