John Thompson Joins St. Bernards Clopton Clinic (Movers & Shakers)

Dr. John Thompson has joined St. Bernards Clopton Clinic in Jonesboro as a pulmonary and critical care physician.

Thompson earned his medical degree from UAMS and completed a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. He previously practiced in Memphis at Mid-South Pulmonary Specialists & Critical Care and as director of critical care at St. Francis Park Hospital.

Dr. Thomas Kim, a radiation oncologist, has joined the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences’ Radiation Oncology Center in Little Rock.

Kim received his medical degree from Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and completed an internship at Boston Medical Center and a radiation oncology residency at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Stacy S. Griffin has begun practicing at the Little Rock Allergy & Asthma Clinic.

Griffin, a native of Parkin (Cross County), earned his medical degree at UAMS and completed his internship and residency at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia. He served 11 years as an active duty physician in the U.S. Navy.
