
Jonathan Coleman has been named interim assistant vice chancellor for enrollment management at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Coleman is the director of financial aid and scholarships and will serve in both roles while a national search is conducted.
Alexus Raymo has been hired as director of communications and public relations at University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law. Before joining the law school, Raymo was a public information officer at the Arkansas Department of Human Services.
Amber Austen has been hired as an administrative assistant at The Communications Group of Little Rock. In her new role, Austen will perform general office duties, assist the agency’s accounting team and aid employees working on the agency’s agriculture, B2B and public sector accounts.
Alexandra Burnley has been hired at KFSM-TV, Channel 5, of Springdale. Burnley will co-anchor alongside Daren Bobb for the 4, 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts. on weekdays. She has television news experience in Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Allen Childers has been promoted to APP clinical director of south Arkansas at Arkansas Urology of Little Rock. Childers is a certified physician’s assistant and will provide operational support in El Dorado, Monticello and White Hall. He joined Arkansas Urology in 2017. Jeff Thomas has been promoted to APP clinical director of men’s health at Arkansas Urology. Thomas joined Arkansas Urology in 2011 and has experience in emergency medicine and critical care.
The Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau has promoted four employees. Bettye Dyer has been promoted to assistant parking director and has 10 years of experience managing parking operations. Diana Long has been promoted to director of event operations. She has been with the LRCVB for 12 years, and will oversee events hosted at LRCVB-managed facilities, including concerts, conventions and other large-scale events. Christopher Parker has been promoted to event manager and will work with the event management team at LRCVB-managed facilities. Lisa Spence has been promoted to director of tax. Spence has been with the LRCVB for more than 15 years and will oversee all tax-related operations, advertisement and promotion tax collections for the bureau.
Wesley Fason and Ivan Robinson have been promoted to apprentice lineman 1 in the electric department at Conway Corp. Both are enrolled in a four-year apprentice program to become journeymen linemen and will learn pole climbing and pole top rescue and undergo bucket truck training.
