Jonesboro Cancer Center Gets Okoye (Movers & Shakers)

Dr. Christian Okoye has joined the Ben E. Owens Cancer Treatment Center at St. Bernards Healthcare in Jonesboro as a radiation oncologist.

Okoye received his doctor of medicine from the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine and has completed a residency in radiation oncology at University Hospitals/Cleveland Medical Center, affiliated with Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.


Jennifer DeClerk, Cindy Hannah, Cecelia Killough, Sherry Mangrum, Dan Lee Parker Sr., Tiffany Ryan and Stephania Darlene Terry have been named distinguished alumni of the College of Nursing & Health Professions at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.

DeClerk was recognized in the field of medical imaging and radiation sciences; Hannah, clinical laboratory sciences; Killough and Terry, physical therapy; Mangrum, social work; Parker, nursing; and Ryan, communication disorders.

The distinguished alumni were acknowledged during a ceremony Oct. 15 at the Donald W. Reynolds Center for Health Sciences.
