Josh Neal Moves Up Ladder At Arvest (Movers & Shakers)

Josh Neal has been promoted to a private banking manager for Arvest Bank of Fayetteville. Neal will continue to serve as a mortgage manager while also managing the private banking team in Little Rock. He has 17 years of industry experience and licensing in life and health insurance, series 7 and series 66.

Lorrie Trogden, president and CEO of the Arkansas Bankers Association, has been elected chairman of the board of trustees of the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. 


The Arkansas State Bank Department has hired five new employees, four of whom are new bank examiners. Thomas Griggs has been hired as a commercial examiner in the Jonesboro office. Griggs has banking experience with Centennial Bank of Conway and six years of military experience. Tyler Lucas will also be a commercial examiner. He has worked for Arvest Bank of Fayetteville and Bank OZK of Little Rock. Shawn Smith has been hired as a commercial examiner and has 18 years of experience working with the Arkansas Treasury. Paige Whitley will work as a commercial examiner. Whitley has prior work experience at Southern Bancorp of Arkadelphia. Additionally, Elizabeth Swaim has been hired as a research project analyst. Swaim has prior work experience with the Arkansas Insurance Department. All four will work in the Little Rock office.
