Kendra Pruitt Launches Consulting Firm Solution Seekers

1 min read

Kendra Pruitt, former chief of staff to Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott Jr., announced the launch of her consulting firm Monday.

The firm, Solution Seekers, is focused on advising mayors, municipalities, nonprofits and “mission-minded” companies, according to its website.

“I launched Solution Seekers to expand my work beyond one city, because the state, nation, and even the world need solutions that actually move the needle,” Pruitt said in a press release. “This firm is built on a simple but powerful belief: when you center people, strategy becomes more than a plan. It becomes a pathway to transformation.”

During her three-year stint as Scott’s chief of staff, Pruitt contributed to strategies that resulted in the announcement of 11,000 new jobs and the reduction of the city’s overall crime rate. With Solution Seekers, she aims to provide “that same visionary leadership and strategic approach to others committed to driving change,” according to the release.

Pruitt, a Newport native, graduated from Ouachita Baptist University with a bachelor’s in business administration before earning a juris doctor from the University of Arkansas School of Law. She was an attorney at Mitchell Williams Selig Gates & Woodyard PLLC before she began working for the city in 2019.

While she is still licensed to practice law in the state, Pruitt now serves as the principal consultant of Solution Seekers.

“Whether advising a mayor, or helping a company scale its impact, the firm brings clarity, capacity, and momentum,” she said in the release.
