Kerri Jackson Case Has Windstream on Her MindLock Icon

Kerri Jackson Case is still fluent in English, sarcasm and profanity, as she proudly proclaims on Twitter, but she’s no longer a senior communications specialist at Entergy Arkansas.

Case, who handled media relations and other chores for the state’s largest electric utility for nearly three years, is now a full-time public relations professional for Windstream’s Kinetic Internet.

“As much as I love chatting with you all about electricity, I will no longer take your calls about outages or regulatory issues,” Jackson wrote in an email to business associates on Jan 13. “If you want to talk dogs, cookies, Star Wars or cocktails, I remain your contact.”

On Instagram, Case posted a picture of parting gifts from office friends at Entergy, a bouquet and what appeared to be Bulleit rye whiskey. “This photo is proof that my brand is well established,” she joked.

The Windstream job, which she started nearly two weeks ago, is a promotion for Case. Insiders said it also came with a raise, no surprise considering that Case was happy at Entergy; her dad worked for the utility’s Arkansas Nuclear One plant in Russellville.

Before joining Entergy, Case was a KATV reporter, a CJRW account executive and the owner of her own firm, Mudrain Communications.

“Thanks to all for being super to work with…,” Case said in her email, which directed contacts to Entergy Senior Communications Specialist David Lewis and Communications Manager Kacee Kirschvink. “I fully intend to keep running into you from time to time and being my typical absurd self.”
