Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville received a Supply Chain Management Excellence Award from VHA Inc., a national health care network, for improving operational efficiency and reducing costs from the supply chain while maintaining quality patient care.
St. Vincent Health System of Little Rock recently won eight awards for its strategic marketing initiatives in the national Healthcare Advertising Awards, sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report. The campaign was created by Mangan Holcomb Partners of Little Rock. The hospital took gold in single full-page newspaper advertising for "Boundaries," an ad promoting the system’s expansion into west Little Rock, and in unique health promotion for "Ice Cream Truck," an effort that had a van distributing free frozen treats along with information about the expansion.
Powers of Arkansas in North Little Rock, which designs and implements energy-management controls for buildings, was named the North American Field Office of the Year for the second consecutive year by Siemens Switzerland Ltd.
